The signature shot Two ways
i.
— Espresso · The House Method

JV Espresso.

Programmed into the Breville and named for me — because at some point you stop calling it "a double shot" and start calling it what it actually is: your shot. Concentrated, fast, and exactly the same every time. That's the whole point of a ritual.

— The Method

Coffee: Double shot, ~18 g · Pull Time: ~15 seconds · Grind: Fine, dialed in · Yield: ~2 oz

— Two Ways to Drink It

Neat: Pulled into a small cup. Drunk in two sips. The fastest start there is.
With Almond Milk: Pulled into a larger cup, topped with 4–6 oz of lightly steamed almond milk. Sweetener optional. The version visitors get.

Pairs with: our Guatemala — rich cocoa and dried fruit, full-bodied enough to hold its own under nine bars of pressure.

Cold brew The slow build
ii.
— Cold Brew · The Slow Build

The Cold Brew.

A different kind of ritual. You don't make cold brew in a hurry — you start it the night before and let time do the work. Twelve hours. No heat. No pressure. Smoother, lower-acid, and ready when you are.

— The Method

Coffee: 1 cup, coarsely ground · Water: 4 cups, cold filtered · Steep Time: 12–18 hours · Temperature: Room temp, then chill

Combine grounds and water in a jar or pitcher. Stir once. Cover. Steep on the counter overnight. Strain through a fine mesh and a paper filter. Refrigerate. Serve over ice — neat, or cut with water or milk to taste.

Pairs with: our Nicaragua — cocoa, hazelnut, and a quiet sweetness that comes through beautifully cold.

Loose leaf tea The quieter morning
iii.
— Tea · The Slower Pour

The Steep.

For the mornings the cup doesn't need to start the day — it just needs to be there. Three minutes of quiet while the leaves do their work. No rush. No buzz. Just a moment.

— The Method

Tea: 1 tsp loose leaf, per cup · Water: 8 oz, freshly drawn · Temperature: 175°F (green) · 200°F (herbal) · Steep Time: 3–5 minutes

Heat the water. Place leaves in an infuser. Pour, cover, and let steep — set a timer if you have to. Remove the leaves at time. Drink slowly. The point isn't speed.

Pairs with: our Hojicha — toasted, nutty, and low enough in caffeine to drink any hour you want.

— A note from the founder

Pick whichever ritual fits the morning you've claimed.

There's no wrong way to brew. Just different rhythms for different days. The shot when the day starts at full speed. The cold brew when you planned ahead. The steep when the morning belongs to quiet. The cup is the punctuation. You write the sentence.
